Lee Rice's journey to ministry is a personal one. An ordained minister, he is married to Sister Catherine Rice, whom he affectionately calls "Bone of His Bone, Flesh of His Flesh." They have two daughters, Sherina and Jessica, three grandchildren, and two sons-in-law. A veteran of the Army, he accepted Christ at the tender age of seven. Originally from Columbus, Mississippi, he is the youngest of seven children. His call to ministry from God in 2004 was a turning point, and he has since dedicated himself to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his gospel music. His love for the Lord and his commitment to doing his best are rooted in the belief that God gave us Heaven's Best – Jesus the Christ.

Minister Lee Rice's commitment to his ministry is evident in his pursuit of knowledge and understanding. He attended Sterling College, an accredited institution, to deepen his knowledge of biblical teachings and principles. His academic achievements, including multiple appearances on the Dean's List, culminated in his graduation with high honors and a Theological Degree in Religion and Philosophical Study of the Bible.

Minister Lee Rice feels blessed to be used by the Lord as a Gospel Recording Artist. He is recognized as an International and National Gospel Recording Artist, a Gospel Image Awards Winner, and a two-time Black Essence Grammy Award Winner. He was also nominated for the People’s Choice Award and appeared on Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel (BET). His international reach includes televised programs broadcast in over 60 countries, as well as The Word Network, The Vision Network, All Nations TV in Tyler, TX, and multiple radio stations, including WTWG 1050 AM in Columbus, MS, and KHWH Gospel Worldwide Radio in Crockett, TX. He has been featured on Centertainment Radio Worldwide in Dallas, TX, The Shirley Ann Worldwide Network in VA, Bless Way Worldwide Radio in MI, and GMAP (Gospel, Music, and Production) Broadcast Network in Waukegan, IL. Minister Rice has also contributed to Faith-2-Faith Radio in Cincinnati, OH.

His awards include the Double Honored Award from the Extraordinary People Awards, recognizing his "Lifetime Achievement Award in Ministry," as well as the Dwayne Coley Music Award. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Gospel Music Award (IGMA) in Atlanta, GA. In 2020, he was awarded the Top Religious Educator by Doc's Gospel Music Monthly Forum in Lady Lake, FL. His video and audio sermons, as well as Bible studies, can be found on NLISTIC Radio and Television Broadcasting Network in Springfield, MA. He is also a TV producer for the show 4Us Forum on the Nlistic Television Network and serves as a Music Support Advisor for Docs World Radio's Pacific North Region. He has been honored as the Assistant Radio Station Manager and Assistant Program Director at The Word Channel Radio.

In 2023, he was recognized as the Top Kingdom Building Motivational Leader and Ministry Educator by Doc's Business Highway Newsletter. Additionally, he was named the Kingdom Building Preacher and Music Artist of the Month by Docs World Radio for January 2024. He has received accolades as the Top Male Role Model by Docs World Radio in honor of Black History Month 2024 and recognition as the Top Kingdom-Building Vessel and Most Positive Male Role Model by the Word Channel Radio in April 2024. Furthermore, Minister Rice was singled out as the Teacher/Preacher of the Month by the Word Channel Internet Radio Station on May 24th, 2024. In August 2024, Doc-Town USA Internet Radio honored him as the Top Gospel Music Role Model, Motivational Leader, and Mentor for his numerous achievements. Doc's World Radio has recognized Minister Lee Rice as its Man of the Month for December 2024. Minister Rice is actively engaged on the Kingdom Building Trail, dedicating himself to preaching, teaching, singing, and guiding individuals toward Christ while motivating and empowering others to succeed. A devoted family man, he embodies the qualities of a true role model, as noted by Dr. Bradford Howard Jr., Founder and Chief Executive Officer. He has received the Nlistic Media Kingdom Honoree 2024 title, recognized as the Male Kingdom Minister, Male Artist of the Year, and for his Kingdom TV Show (4 US FORUM). Docs World Radio recognized Minister Lee Rice's song, "I’m In Too Deep," as the Top Song of the Month for March 2025.

In just a year and a half, from June 2022 to October 2024, he has achieved the distinction of having eight No. 1 charting hit songs nationally and internationally. This noteworthy achievement emphasizes his substantial artistic impact and market presence, with a total of nine No. 1 hits, including one in January 2025.
